【ワシントン＝吉野直也】オバマ米大統領が31日午後（日本時間９月１日未明）に発表した声明ではシリアへの軍事介入に際した不安な胸の内をにじませた。「行動すべきだと決断した」と軍事介入を初めて明言する半面「米議会の承認を求める」と述べ、決断に伴う責任を議会と共有しようとする姿勢をみせたからだ。
米国の戦争権限法は大統領が敵対行為に米軍を送る前と後に議会と協議することを求めているが、これはあくまで「努力規定」。議会の承認を得られないから軍事介入できないわけではない。オバマ氏はむしろ軍事介入への説明を求める議会指導部の存在を逆手に取りリスクを分散しようとしているフシがうかがえる。
米世論はなお半数が軍事介入に反対。有志連合としてもっとも期待していた英国は介入を断念した。シリアへの軍事介入は事実上、米国の単独の色彩が濃い。化学兵器使用は「国際規範から逸脱する」という大義で軍事介入に突き進むオバマ氏だが、国内外の支持がそれに伴わない現実への戸惑いは隠せない。
指導者とはそもそも孤独な決断を迫られるもので、歴代の米大統領は賛否が混在するなかでそれをしてきた。軍事介入へ秒読みとみられた土壇場でみせたオバマ氏の行動。「世界の警察官」役を任じ「強い指導者」を演じてきた米大統領像を揺らがせ、不安を包み隠さない新たな「普通の指導者像」への転換を示したともいえる。

これまでレプティリアンが形成していた秘密政府は、レプティリアンがいなくなって機能しなくなるので、人間に課されていた恐れの９５％は解消される。
暗殺、脅迫、買収も無くなるので、人間は解放され、自由になる。
今まで、レプティリアン支配下のシークレットサービスに
影響されていたオバマ大統領は、自由になる。
